Buff Pantry

The Buff Pantry is CU Boulder’s on-campus food pantry providing fresh produce; shelf-stable, refrigerated, and frozen food; and personal care items to students free of charge. The food at the pantry is distributed by Community Food Share and is primarily rescued food that would have otherwise been thrown away. A portion of the food Buff Pantry supplies is from donations by CU organizations, concession stands, Farm and Garden Club, and on campus food drives. The Buff Pantry distributes about 5-6 thousand pounds of rescued food per week

How to Participate

Any students can sign up to pick up food from the pantry once per week. If you’re a student and would like to sign up, visit the Buff Pantry Page and complete the client intake form. After doing so, you will be able to sign up for an appointment slot to pick up your food. Appointments are quick and easy - just visit the Buff Pantry in the UMC and bring a bag or two to fill with grocery items. Students can also donate their sealed food during the on campus holiday food drive or by stopping by the pantry when it is open.
